Every 4th of July, the city I live in has a big celebration. The main road is closed to traffic and there are tents set up for shopping, buying food etc. There are things for the kids to do like slip n slide, get sprayed by the fire truck, play water balloon toss and assorted other things. I thought I would make my girls a fan to use as we walk around town using Let Freedom Ring. I stamped stars on the back and also personalized the stick with each girl's name using Fresh Alphabet. I used my crop a dile to punch the ribbon holes. This fan is the perfect size for kids and works great on adults too! I used the largest die from Label One Nestabilities and scor tape to attach the 7" wood piece to the back. These are inexpensive to make. One sheet of cardstock will make 4 fan bases. The wood sticks are less than 10 cents each.
