I used Lauren's Take Along Tote Template (with a few modifications) for this project. I omitted the pockets but added an insert to hold the Trendy Tubes. I took a 5" x 5 1/2" piece of Kraft cardstock and scored it at 2", 3" and 4" on the shorter side. I used a 1" circle punch to make three holes in the center portion before adhering the back panel inside the tote. I also used my long rectangle Nestabilities to create a window in the front panel of the tote for the Trendy Tubes to peek out. The tote was made out of Kraft cardstock and was stamped using Polka Dot Basics II in True Black ink. The medallions were made using 2009 Halloween Tags stamped on Plum Pudding and Summer Sunrise cardstock using True Black ink. I used my circle Nestabilities to cut them out. The label on the front of the tote was made using Spooky Sweets II stamped on True Black cardstock in Vintage Cream ink and cut out using my curved rectangle Nestabilities. All of the cardstock edges were sponged with Vintage Cream ink for a distressed look. I notched the top of the tote on either side and added some True Black gingham ribbon as a closure. As a finishing touch I added a Summer Sunrise and Plum Pudding button tied with black DMC floss. The Trendy Tubes are filled with orange, black and purple Halloween M & M's - yum! :)
