Album:

I love giving my kids little fun suprises so I thought this would be perfect for Halloween morning. I created this little coffin and will be happy to share the template on my blog. It hangs perfect on around a door knob and would be a fun little suprise for kids when they wake up in the morning. I stamped the cobweb and large spider onto black cs before cutting out the template. The spiders are a bit hard to see in the picture but I stamped them with black and then again with white ink. I used my silver gel pen to add some eyes..I like that they are somewhat harder to see..it gives it a more spooky feel. To keep the coffin shut I used a bat brad along with a picture frame closer(not sure how else to describe it..you see them on the back of picture frames to keep it closed). This works great at keeping the lid shut. I then added the sentiment.."Open if you dare!" I then took my crop-a-dile and punch two small holes on the side of the coffin...here I threaded my ribbon through and tied from the inside to form a loop..I've also made these without the ribbon and gave as party favors with the child's name on them..so many options! I then just fill them up with candy and little halloween trinkets!

Bridget Dickinson
Http://bridgerose.blogspot.com
