To make the sentiment block, I coated the whole rectangle of cardstock with paint and then pressed the sentiment into the paint and lifted it straight up. It removed the paint in the exact design of the stamp! I'll be honest, I felt extremely triumphant when I saw how well it worked. With the paint removed by the stamp, the sentiment is a different texture as well as a different color. So cool!
