Simple Wedding Invitation Happily Ever After Paperweight Heart
Debbie Olson
I was browsing the clearance table at Hallmark the other day (one of my favorite places to look for alterables on clearance), when I found these Valentines Glass Paperweight kit frames. Two of them immediately came home with me! First I carefully took apart the box and used that as a template from which to trace a new box on the Everyday Blessings 12" x 12" patterned paper. I stamped the "Happily Ever After, got the box folded up, lined the back with a contrasting color, and cleaned the sticker off of the clear sleeve.

For the heart, I simply followed directions, tracing around a photo and trimming it. I also used a piece of Everyday Blessings paper to re-cover the original red background to coordinate my set. I cheated a bit on the picture; since I have no known upcoming weddings in my future, I used a black and white engagement photo that Rick and I had made almost 13 years ago now. . . good years! (Please ignore that big bow on my hair. . . They used to be in--really!)
