This submission is for the PTI GSS "Best Use of a Stamp Set Released Before May 2008" contest! I created this card for someone who requested a card for her goddaughter who has been accepted into a prestigious school for the arts, which made it extra special to design a keepsake that will hopefully inspire an aspiring actress! I absolutely love Text Boxed and thought of this set right away. I decided to design and print my original sentiment on the computer onto a thick transparency sheet. I used my Nestabilities to cut windows into the front of my card base and the lilac cardstock on the other side (which covers the transparency overlay). I folded a sheet of soft 100% cotton paper and stamped the Text Boxed star stamp with a mix of purple and blue inks in various shades. Over the window text, you can see the colorful stars peeking through and glitter on the stars make them pop a little bit. The cotton paper is held inside the card thanks to the big satin ribbon that keeps all the layers of the card together. Thanks for looking!
