Album: ljurecek

To help my co-workers celebrate their birthdays, I create each one their own mini birthday cake. These are baked up in a tin can I've recycled. After they've cooled, I transfer them over to a clean can that I've decorated with paper and embellishments. I include a glaze mix with instructions so that the recipient can slice up the cake and pour a moist glaze over it. For the final week of school, I made a cake for each of the staff members who have birthdays this summer...eleven in all. I used the Star Prints stamp set to create the cans embellishments. I stamped the stars on felt and foam and then cut them out before adhering them to the papered cans.
