Album: Justine Frederick

This is the box that originally started life as one of the typical 5-7-9 boxes. I am so glad that I miscalculated somewhere in creating it. Rather than scrap the now stamped and scored piece of cardstock, I cut it way down and then cut it in half. I slid the two halves (front & back) together leaving me with a much smaller version. Finished box measures about 3"x3". Stamping the cs in polka dot basics and then stamping another image over it using Fresh Snow ink was an idea that I got from Nichole Heady. I love how the polka dots show through the hearts... The little tag frame was a left over scrap or frame from a small scalloped square nestability that I had cut out for something else. I simply cut the bottom off then slid the two halves together, creating a rectangle. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in with Versa Mark and black embossing powder. For the lips, I first stamped the image in Rasperry Fizz then I stamped over the image using Versa Mark. I used Clear embossing powder to create the "LIP GLOSS". I think the contents of Hershey's Hugs and Kisses fit the sentiment exactly.
The best part about this little box is that I won't spend a fortune trying to fill it....
